MOTOVARIO ASSEMBLY CENTRE &
HYGIENE UNITS
THL Motovario approved assembly centre in Hamilton
has all new assembly and testing facilities.
Customers are now offered even more when it
comes to geared motors, from .09kw through to
45kw. THL & C&T can deliver a drive to suit your
application, with New Zealand-assembled gear
units that are Motovario-certified. This will greatly
improve customer service in this range, and also
bring savings to customers. “Also we now have
a full range of hygienic geared motors for heavy
wash down areas comprised of the NMRX & SWX
units.” These gear units come with either a raw
aluminium housing or special coating to eliminate
any flaking of paint or corrosion that can contaminate
products. A stainless steel output through
bore that stops rusting of the hub, dramatically
increasing seal life in wash down areas which is
one of the main contributors to premature gearbox
failure in these areas. Failed seals bring lubrication
leakage, and no lubrication brings bearing and gear
failure.

range for New Zealand, THL and C&T have the

With urethane and polyester flat belts that are
positively driven in both timing style drive teeth
(50mm and 25mm pitch) and drive lug styles for
positively tracked belts, the companies have a belt

ability to weld cleats and make specialty belts in
New Zealand,” the company says. “This service
will reduce lead times for these specialised belts.”
Along with the Mafdel Hygienic belting range,
