Aldus-Tronics is excited to participate
and exhibit at New Zealand’s foremost
food and packaging technology
exhibition to meet with manufacturers
and discuss how its latest marking and
coding solutions can help customers
improve their productivity, protect and
grow their brands, and stay ahead
of industry trends and regulations.
Aldus-Tronics will be showcasing
advanced coding and marking solutions
to drive greater productivity, minimise
coding errors and lower total cost of
ownership for manufacturers. It will
be demonstrating exciting innovations
achieved through increased investment
in Videojet research and development,
including:
Videojet Dataflex 6530 Thermal
Transfer Overprinter, which comes
with detection capabilities for print
abnormalities and Videojet iAssure
technology to deliver high-quality
codes. Videojet 6530 comes in a
modular design that provides increased
flexibility for easy fit into existing
production lines. Perfect for print on
zipper packs or pouches of varying
thickness, the new TTO printer utilises
an all-electronic printer design which
removes the need for compressed air,
effectively reducing operational costs.
Videojet 1860 Continuous Inkjet
Printer, which includes an industryfirst
ink build-up sensor, allowing up
to eight hours’ advanced notice of
potential fault conditions. The printer
utilises more than 50 real time sensors
to continuously monitor 150+ key
indicators of printer performance;
providing expert diagnostics, analytics
and guidance. The new Videojet
SIMPLICITY user interface with
advanced Code Assurance capability
reduces operator training, minimises
operator interactions, eliminates
potential user errors and ensures print
quality.
Videojet 9550 Label Printer
Applicator, with a unique ability
to remove the need for complex
applicators for mainstream top or side
label applications, reducing the number
of labels being incorrectly applied or
mangled during application. Requiring no
factory air, the new system is the only
solution to print and directly apply labels
to cases and trays at high speed. The
9550’s print engine also incorporates
Intelligent Motion technology for precise
ribbon feed and printhead control,
ensuring optimum print quality and
improved performance. Through use
of a clutch-less ribbon drive, the 9550
substantially reduces ribbon waste and
improves printhead life.
