GUARDIAN IS THE EASY CHOICE
Are you in charge of an operation running a bandsaw
and wanting to meet the combined challenge of
improving safety while not compromising productivity?
Manufactured in Auckland, New Zealand the Guardian
uses high speed vision technology to create a 3D safe
zone the entire length and all around the blade. Vision
detects the operator’s blue gloves when they come
within a certain distance of the blade and the Guardian
activates a braking system stopping the blade in a few
milliseconds.
The quick reset allows the bandsaw to be back up and
running a few seconds following a safety stop. There is
no damage to the blade as the braking system removes
any blade tension during braking.

The new metal detectable weasand clip for both bovine and ovine
species is the latest innovation from Adept to meet the processing
industries need for continuous improvement in food safety standards.
“We have developed a range of metal detectable clips that perform as
effectively as our original beef and lamb clip in sealing the oesophagus
and preventing ingesta leakage,” says the company.
With increased importance now being placed on removing plastics
and other contaminants from pet food and rendering product streams,
Adepts metal detectable clips can be identified and removed by
industry recognised metal detection systems.
The new metal detectable clips are available in both loose and
cartridge forms and are compatible with Adept's range of dispensing
systems.

and on the Guardian portal so that
operators can analyse and correct techniques that
may have previously resulted in serious injury.
