CREATE CLEAN
TOWARDS A ‘BLUE’ PLANET…
AND A PERFECT FLOW
What are the environmental and
sustainable impacts of ‘perfect flow’?
According to Haver & Boecker
Australia, humanity is facing one of
the greatest challenges in history,
undergoing an unprecedented
population growth and in the coming
decades up to ten billion people will
have to share a finite living space
that is facing many changes.
The willingness to break new ground
sustainably and to use resources
responsibly and sparingly will decide
what the future holds for the blue
planet. Haver & Boecker is intensively
concerned with the question of
what role the perfect flow of bulk
materials will play in this context.
Which processes help to use our
resources as sparingly as possible?
What influences does the packaging
have on the filled products and their
quality? Can the right packaging help
to reduce our CO2 emissions?
Perfect flow in production,
packaging and transport
The filling and packaging of food
is central to the process, as the
products need to be manufactured
as cost-effectively as possible. For
sustainable efficiency it is therefore
crucial that the individual stations
are seamlessly interlinked so that
your product can ‘flow’ without loss
from silo to storage and transport
to application - this complete and
perfect chain is for the company the
'perfect flow'.
The company says that packaging
experts are convinced that clean,
tight and safe packaging of bulk
goods has a positive influence
on the CO2 balance. Not only
the production of the container
costs resources, but even more
so the production of the packaged
products. That is why it is immensely
important to protect this product
as well as possible so that it can be
used 100% and is not lost during
packaging, transport or storage.
Haver & Boecker Australia, in
cooperation with sister company
Behn+Bates, creates the technical
solutions for perfect flow. By filling
into clean and perhaps even tearresistant
bags, they lay a very good
foundation for environmentally
friendly and low-emission food
production.
How can this succeed?
The seal technology prevents
material loss as an inflatable sleeve
in a specially designed filling spout
inflates during the filling process.
After dust-free filling, the bag is
carefully extracted from the spout
and the specially designed bag
valve is welded shut by an ultrasonic
sealing system. More and more
food producers are making sure that
their packages are compact, clean,
completely closed and look great.
Most producers see a payback on
their seal technology investment in
less than 12 months.
Haver & Boecker uses machines
and components of all technology
subsidiaries for the realisation of
the Perfect Flow and networks
these technologies with each other.
