OZONE Generator
UV Tunnel
Absolute Process Solutions
has created an alliance with
the German UV technology
based company, Dinies,
and is providing UV and
ozone technologies in New Zealand,
Australia and the Pacific basin, for
the food, beverage, HVAC and
industrial sectors.
The UV-C Ray at 254 nm’s changes
bacterias DNA and destroys its
reproductive ability.
When this technology is used within
the food sector, this can sanitise the
surfaces of the product and destroy
up to 99% of the surface bacteria.
By passing food products through
the UV tunnel, this sanitises the
surface, destroys most food
spoilage organisms and extends the
shelf life of many food products by
several days.
No chemicals, water or heat are
used in this process making it a very
low-cost and ecologically friendly
solution to a sometimes-difficult
sanitisation process.
“Once we understand your process,
we can manufacture a unit which
will accommodate your process and
throughput,” says the company.
Many solutions have been provided
to customers in New Zealand and
Australia and currently they are in
use within the Dairy Industry and
other sectors for the food industry.
Seeds, nuts, herbs, spices and fine
powders are also being sanitised,
increasing the bacterial quality of
the product which has allowed the
producer access into markets with
very high bacterial standards.
That same UV-C ray at 185 nm’s
creates the ozone molecule. This
ozone molecule has a very oxidative
capacity and sterilises the surface of
anything which it comes into contact
with. It destroys the DNA of bacteria
and also eliminates smells.
The technology is currently in use
to sanitise waiting rooms, boot
exchanges and also sanitise large
storage vessels after intrusive
maintenance, or product change
over.
The larger units are used to sanitise
the surfaces in full production areas,
ensuring the production is being
carried out in optimal conditions.
With the current COVID-19
pandemic, it is very important to
ensure all ventilation systems are
providing the process areas and
personal spaces with suitable air.
“The UV technology we supply can fit
into your current HVAC system and
ensure all air supplied is to a very
high bacterial quality and ensuring
all personal and processes are safe
from airborne viruses.”
