manufacturing a new
range of antimicrobial
floor toppings and
coatings that use silver
nanotechnology to kill
bacteria that come into
contact with the surface.
Controlling the incidence of
dangerous pathogens such
as Listeria monocytogenes,
Staphylococcus aureus
and Escherichia coli is a
continual battle in the hygienic
environments of food and
beverage processing facilities,
particularly those processing
meats, fish, shellfish and dairy.
Inhibit’s unique chemistry
used in the production process
incorporates the nanoparticle
silver into the coatings in
a revolutionary manner not
available anywhere else in the
world. This technology allows
Inhibit to produce highly durable
and highly antimicrobial coating
systems.
Independent laboratory testing
and analysis of each of the
coatings is undertaken overseas
to international standards. Inhibit
Coatings’ initial product offerings
have achieved a greater than
99.997% reduction in E. coli, S.
aureus and L. monocytogenes.
