High performance in water and dust contaminated
environments, NSK’s environmentally-friendly
Moulded-Oil bearings offer high performance in harsh
water and dust contaminated environments.
Moulded-Oil bearings are designed to prevent
damaging liquids such as water (which can wash the
lubricating grease out) and dust from getting inside
the bearings. Sealed ball bearings can be used in
environments exposed directly to water and dust
where bearing damage is dramatically accelerated.
There is no risk of grease leakage in critical clean
applications. They are also ideal for applications
in which bearings are exposed to large quantities
of liquids such as water. Corrosion resistance and
operating life can be further enhanced by using longlife,
corrosion-resistant stainless steel (NSK's ES1).
Available in deep groove ball, spherical roller and selfaligning
insert ball bearings.
Condition descriptions include contamination, water,
corrosion, poor lubrication, critical clean room.
Potential applications: food processing, conveyor
equipment, agricultural machines, cleaning equipment.

NEW METAL-DETECTABLE
PLASTICS FOR THE FOOD
PROCESSING INDUSTRY

range of metal detectable plastics (‘foodgrade
blue’ - FDA and EU compliant) that
will assist in contamination-detectability in
foodstuffs.
The range includes metal-detectable Acetal,
Tivar (UHMWPE), and PEEK, offering excellent
wear resistance and the ability to operate to high
temperatures (130 °C + in the case of PEEK).
