production and jobbing work.
Standard hours are 8am-5pm
Monday to Friday depending
on the workload with some
overtime/Saturday work when
required.
You will be:
- Experienced in operating and
maintaining CNC machines
- Programming experience is an
advantage. CAD/CAM knowledge
preferred.
- Be able to work from sketches
and drawings
- Welding ability an advantage
- Reliable and honest
- Have a high standard of workmanship
and be able to work to
a tight tolerance
- Health and safety conscious
- Have a good sense of humor
- Positive attitude towards continuous
improvement.
Part of your role will be training
our existing CNC operator who
has six months experience.
A forklift license is an advantage
but not essential. Remuneration
to be discussed during
interview based on experience.

on the dovetails which the saw
head moves up and down on
and a bit of backlash from
the gearbox. We have found it a
bit hard to cut solid aluminum
over about 50mm and solid
stainless above about 30mm.
Works great for tube and
smaller material.
Comes with recently powdercoated
4m infeed roller set,
original outfeed roller set, good
blade, misc. spares and original
manual. 3 phase on a 20A
plug.

a dream up to tool 9 however
anything above (10-24) can be
a hit and a miss as to whether
it will go into position. I believe
this is either a parameter or
a sensor in the tool changer,
either of which shouldn’t be a
major however. I have not tried
to fix as I only use up to tool 5.
Weight is approximately 10 ton.
Buyer must bring own transportation
for the mill. Has fuse
