EMEX 2020’S INVENTOR SECTION
There’s very little in life that you get given, but for
start-up companies to the engineering and manufacturing

the opportunity to showcase their work to more than
4000 EMEX 2020 attendees.
Part of the Innovation Quarter at EMEX, some 12
companies are being given this opportunity as well
as access to free advice from product development

An email sent to customers stated Trumpf and former
New Zealand partner Aotea Machinery were discontinuing
their partnership from January 31, 2020.
Headland Machinery Pty Ltd took over the sales and
service responsibilities representation for the New
Zealand market on February 1.
Trumpf offers production solutions in the machine tool
and laser sectors and drives digital connectivity in the
manufacturing industry through consulting, platform
and software offers.
Headland group has been a long-term partner of
Trumpf for over 20 years, previously representing the
company in Australia.
Trumpf Asia Pacific managing director Chong Chee Ter
says he is looking forward to a long-term cooperation
between the two companies.
“Please be assured that we will work with Aotea
Machinery Pty Ltd for any outstanding contractual
obligations as well as pending service issues related to
Trumpf machines in order to ensure a smooth transition
and as little as possible disruption of your daily
business,” he said.
The company generated nearly 3.8 billion euros
(preliminary figures) of sales in the 2018/19 fiscal year
and has approximately 14,500 employees.
Headquartered in Ditzingen near Stuttgart, Germany,
Trumpf is represented by over 70 subsidiaries in all
the world’s leading markets with production facilities
in Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Austria,
Switzerland, Poland, the Czech Republic, the USA,
Mexico, China and Japan.
