DURMA:
Durmazlar (Durma), has one of
the world’s most contemporary
production plants in the industry.
Located in Bursa, Turkey, Durma’s
production facilities cover 150,000m2
of closed area across three different
ISO certified factories.
The company’s stringent quality
principles ensures only reliable and
durable machines are produced.
Coupled with economies of scale,
producing over 8000 units annually,
puts Durma as arguably the best
value for money machines on the
market, and its huge range covers
all customer’s requirements or
budget says New Zealand distributor,
Leabourn & Rose.
What’s hot with Durma
Durma’s CNC press brakes are
world-class. A CNC press brake
improves beam positioning accuracy
to +/- 0.01mm (conventional
machines are only +/-0.1mm). They
also have independent control of
each hydraulic cylinder. This allows
the beam to be tilted if required (max
10mm) but more importantly allows
you to compensate the machine
when pressing off centre. Durma
manufactures four series of CNC
press brakes.
- Fighter series
An economical CNC machine with
the Durma DT 10” touchscreen
graphical controller. The standard
machine is 3-Axis; being left cylinder
(Y1), right cylinder (Y2), back gauge
in/out (X) with manual bottom table
crowning.
- AD-R series
Value machines with large stroke,
daylight and throat. The standard
machine is 5-Axis; being left cylinder
(Y1), right cylinder (Y2), back gauge
in/out (X) back gauge rise/fall (R) and
motorised bottom table crowning
linked to the CNC controller.
- AD-S series
Unlimited possibilities for faster
setups and part production. 3D
graphical control options with
offline software. Multiple axis back
gauges for taper folding, “But we
find customers achieve the most
significant increase in productivity
through quick change tool clamping
options,” says the Leabourn & Rose
team.
- AD-ES series
The next revolution in high speed
part production. The AD-ES series
is a fully electric, ballscrew driven
press brake. Offering faster bending
speeds, more accuracy and energy
savings to the sheetmetal production
industry.
But wait, there’s more…
The Durma turret punch series
offers significant faster punching
speeds over mechanical turrets. With
punching head stroke rates of up
to 1200 strokes per minute during
punching and 3200 per minute
during marking. The ram stoke travel
and speed is adjustable to allow
forming and tapping operations. All
models can be fitted with the TP
cell automatic material loading and
unloading system.
8 x 2 metre, 5 axis fibre laser in production
Durma IW hydraulic ironworkers are
well engineered to meet the stringent
safety requirements while still
being user friendly. These universal
machines come with five work
stations being; punching station,
flat shearing station, angle shearing
station, notching station and rod
shearing station (CE compliant).
The Durma plasma PL-C series is
a true high-performance plasma
machine, designed to cut a wide
range of mild steel, stainless steel
and aluminium. Durma has redefined
its plasma cutting technology with
the release of the Aurora software.
The software is an eye pleasing, user
friendly system, consolidating all your
cutting needs into one software.
SHOW PREVIEW
2 x 6 metre press brakes under construction
Durma plate rolls offer you the finest
bending performance.
“The HRB-4 series 4-roll machines
are the most popular as they are
more precise, productive, and easier
to operate than 3-roll machines,”
adds Leabourn & Rose. For
machines up to 30mm capacity,
Durma utilises the planetary swing
side roll design to allow bending
diameters as small as 1.1 times
top roll diameter. While many other
plate roll manufacturers quote cone
bending to a minimum of three times
top roll diameter, Durma’s HRB
machines can cone bend to 1.5
times top roll diameter easily. This
is testament to the Durma strong
machine body design.
