New general manager David Walkinshaw has more than 20 years’ experience in the meat industry, having started his career with PPCS after graduating from Lincoln University with a BSc. He has held roles with Taylor Preston in Wellington and Auckland Meat Processers, which included quality systems management and operational management providing a vast depth and breadth of experience in the industry. “I have been general manager of Argus New Zealand and Australia since September last year, and my team and I are looking forward to partnering with customers to provide high-quality New Zealandmade tools and equipment solutions from around the globe to suit each customers’ demands,” he says. “With our extensive range of products, Argus will be able to satisfy your needs quickly and efficiently.” The company has just signed up exclusive distributorship with Razoredge for Australia and New Zealand – selling knife sharpening systems. The company is known as the world’s leading authority on cutting edge technology, with its products used in markets including meat, poultry and other food-related activities. The product range includes sharpening products that can make it possible for anyone to put a professional, razor edge on hunting knives, culinary and chef knives, broadheads, fish hooks and more.
