This new model, the CheckPoint 3, is the most progressive of its kind to be released in a long time. Dansensor have done this by adopting a solid-state sensor for improved speed and accuracy. With the use of this sensor, there is no need for on-going calibration. Along with ease of use, self-diagnostics and unsurpassed accuracy, the Checkpoint3’s best return on investment is its low cost of ownership that sees the unit come with a threeyear warranty on the sensor. Aside from the revolutionary sensor technology, the CheckPoint 3 operates on a user-friendly touchscreen interface with colour display to present diagnostics. The device is also able to create its own WiFi connection for data collection/transfer. The second is the Leak Protego, a modular micro-leak detection that uses CO2 as the trace gas to detect leaks down to 50 microns (roughly half the diameter of a human hair). Each module can test up to 12 packages per minute. With eight modules, up to 96 packs can be tested per minute. Every package is tested individually after leaving the packing machine, meaning that leaks are detected before being placed into cases or shipping crates. No package is left untested, which means a 100% detection rate.
