Stainless Engineering Specialists Canterbury-based company Spray Marks Engineering’s reputation for experience, sound engineering principles and knowledge was proven recently in the successful production of quality large-scale stainless tanks for a New Zealand malting plant development project.  The steep germination and kiln tanks used throughout the malting process varied in diameter from six to 16 metres and were manufactured under controlled conditions in the Spray Marks Engineering workshop, under the watchful eye of time lapse cameras meaning their customer could keep a close eye on daily and even hourly progress of the exciting creations.  Engineers that move, improve andcreate 0800 101 373 48 APRIL 2016 Once manufactured, the tanks were transported more than 80km to their final destination where they were fitted onsite by Spray Marks Engineers. This project complemented an exciting year of growth for the company.  Another highlight was the in-house design and manufacture of a high-capacity seed mixing plant which was then transported to South America.   Staff travelled to Uruguay where they unpacked and installed the plant in a brand new custom-built facility near Monte Video. Spray Marks Engineering’s track record in managing large scale projects proves the company to be an excellent and adaptable companion when commissioning new, moving or modifying existing plant.  The passion lies in manufacturing technology and the company’s flexible problem-solving solutions and innovative attitude which make it a strong development partner in many industries.
