HELVI MAXITECH 360C IDEALLY SUITED FOR HEAVIER ALUMINIUM FABRICATION A step up from the popular HELVI TP220 and TP225 single phase MIG/MAG, DC TIG, MMA synergic pulse machines, the new 3-phase MAXITECH 360C is ideally suited for heavier aluminium fabrication work. The 360C is available with single/double pulse and push/ pull options. The large 3.3” display shows all the welding parameters, and makes their setting easy and intuitive. In synergic MIG/MAG welding, the microprocessor ensures easy and quick setting of the programs, thus always guaranteeing optimal arc stability and high weld quality. www.multimig.co.nz NEW T-STYLE SIALON CERAMIC INSERTS FROM SECO EXCEL IN UNSTABLE CONDITIONS Seco has expanded the roughing and semi-finishing performance capabilities of its Secomax™ CS100 sialon ceramic grade by adding inserts with T-style edge preparation to the line. Featuring a freecutting, extremely sharp geometry, the new inserts bring stability and performance longevity to the machining of nickel-based super alloys in unstable conditions. Well suited for turning applications that require tight tolerances and low cutting forces, the T-style (chamfered) CS100 inserts are available in 20-degree chamfers that range from 0.05 mm to 0.1 mm in width. The sharp, negative reinforced cutting edges on these inserts help absorb some of the high cutting force and pressure that would otherwise be placed on the machine setups and workpieces. www.secotools.com IMPROVING MACHINE RELIABILITY Do you have plant and equipment that is failing and impacting your production? There are many contributing factors to machine problems which can be detected prior to the failure of your machine. Our advanced machinery health information systems are designed for installation in virtually any industrial application. Wireless options are available for machines where access is unsafe or where hard wiring proves impractical. Every machine now has the potential to be monitored around the clock, automatically alerting you to problems, and helping you avoid costly downtime. NVMS has developed a reputation for providing intelligent monitoring solutions to industry for over 25 years. Utilising our experience and alliances with technology experts GE Bently Nevada and Commtest, our solutions are high quality and can be scaled to suit the size of your operation.
