BEST OF THE BEST THE DRUNKEN NANNY Founded in 2015 by Amanda and Lindsay Goodman, The Drunken Nanny produces a range of fresh goats’ milk cheeses from their growing herd of dairy goats. The entire process from breeding the goats through to milking, cheese production and packaging takes place on their family farm, enabling them to produce cheeses that have a clean, fresh and mild flavour. The Drunken Nanny has won three silvers and a bronze medal at the 2016 NZ Cheese Awards, despite having only been in business for four months, and is delighted with the enthusiastic response to the cheeses from retailers, consumers and trade customers. As a family-run business, the Goodmans have a strong belief in animal rights and welfare, and this care and attention shows in their outstanding range of cheeses. www.thedrunkennanny.co.nz NEW ZEALAND FOOD INNOVATION NETWORK The New Zealand Food Innovation Network is an accessible, national network of science and technology resources created to support the growth and development of New Zealand food and beverage exports by providing facilities and the expertise needed to develop new products and processes from idea to commercial success.
