REN040 ENTRIES OPEN TWO CATEGORIES: PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS AND STUDENT FINAL VIDEO SUBMISSION IS TO BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MARCH 9 2018, 5PM. MORE THAN $30,000 IN PRIZES AND GROWING Disclaimer: Judges decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entry is open to anyone employed in New Zealand in the engineering field or students currently studying an engineering field (robotics, materials, machining, welding etc) at a qualified tertiary institution (University or Polytech). Prizes are subject to change. All you have to do is design and make a Kiwi that is no bigger than ONE CUBIC METRE, take a video of it and send it in by the competition close date. Five finalists in each category – Professional and Student – will be selected to have their entries exhibited at EMEX 2018 and the winner of each category will be announced. Entries can be as individuals or teams So get cracking and engineer a Kiwi – but not just any Kiwi, one that New Zealand can be proud of and shows off the disciplines of the engineering industry – it can be CNC machined, a robotic Kiwi, 3D printed, welded…. it's all up to you. Materials to build the project are those found in any good New Zealand engineering workshop.
