Regal NZ’s general manager David Priestley has headed the transition, and he says that the evolutionary steps already taken now sees the company as more than just a brandbacked entity, with it now having the business processes in place that makes its service side second to none. “It’s been an absolutely successful merge of four separate businesses, once we came under one roof in 2012,” says Mr Priestley. “The service side of the business is an aspect that we are very proud of and that service is 100% supported by the strictest accreditations under regulatory bodies,” he says. The entire business falls under ISO 9001 certification – a global, corporate certificate. All new product manufactured by the company are certified and audited by Baseefa to IEC standards which also demands the strictest of international standards. “We’ve maintained The IANZ Accreditation for coming up to 20 years – and all staff know that to maintain that standard requires nothing short of exceptional delivery across the entire company platform. That’s 20 years of hands on experience with electrical equipment used in explosive atmospheres,” he says. The trades staff Regal has on board are “highly skilled” and it sets the company apart from its competition as not only is it a globally certified manufacturer of products but “fully able to support, service and maintain and modify to special requirements” – not only within its product infrastructure but any brand at all.
