One such speaker is global product management and marketing director, Setpoint Vibration, Steve Sabin, who will speak on ‘A new method for intelligent sampling and storage of vibration waveforms’. Mr Sabin began his career in 1989 as a registered professional engineer in Canada, providing applications engineering support for vibration monitoring instrumentation. He is now director of product management and marketing with Setpoint Vibration and a key member of the development team for its machinery protection and condition monitoring offerings. He has served as the secretary of American Petroleum Institute Standard 670 since 1996. Brief schedule: Tuesday the 16th ‘Awareness Day’: begins with an introduction on the common condition monitoring and reliability improvement techniques. After lunch two choices: hands-on with those technologies, or a ‘management introduction’ to asset management and reliability improvement. On Wednesday the main conference begins: two days with two streams of presentations.
