The easy-to-install, easy-to-maintain food grade cleaner can be disassembled in less than a minute for regular cleaning and sanitation. The simple design of the FGP Primary Cleaner features stainless steel components and FDA-approved, food-grade materials that limit negative spaces and crevices, which can encourage bacteria growth. There is no need to remove the cleaner from the structure for cleaning, sanitising and blade changes because of the snap-in-place design of the blade. Ideal for the food processing industry, the FGP Primary Cleaner can be used from the time the food is harvested to the finished product. It is designed to meet strict sanitary guidelines, and has been certified by the USDA for use in meat, poultry and dairy operations. “The cleaner is easily tensioned to minimise blade wear and belt damage and maximise cleanability,” Flexco product manager Laurie Shorten says. “The cleaner has a spring tensioner that can be easily adjusted to ensure optimal blade-tobelt contact, which maximises the cleaning capabilities.” For more information, please contact Flexco at salesau@flexco.com or visit www.flexco.com.au Leaking packages are a key concern for any company involved in Modified Atmosphere Packaging. For years, a key request from customers has been the ability to test the seal integrity of individual packages right after leaving the packaging machine. Denmark-based Dansensor has come up with a clever efficient solution… a modular leak testing concept designed to identify individual leaking packages before they are placed in shipping crates. The LeakProtego is a modular system where each module is designed to test up to 12 packages per minute and several modules can be combined to achieve the speeds required to follow the packaging machine. It is possibly the only leak system in the world with the capability to test micro leaks down to 50 μm at a speed that matches the majority of packaging machines producing modified atmosphere packages. The system uses a patent pending sensing system to detect traces of CO2 escaping through leaks in the package and thus identifying micro leaks. It can protect you from brand damage associated with faulty packaging; eliminate the expense and line speed reduction of human inspection; help ensure maximum continuous productivity, on-time delivery and satisfied customers; and reduces risk of fines, recalls and downtime due to a fast and reliable way to find and eliminate leaks. • Modular leak testing concept • Designed to identify individual leaking. • Packages before they are placed in shipping crates.
