The UK Slip Resistance Group is holding its annual conference in October, and participants will have a unique opportunity to learn about the latest slips, trips and falls research through a diverse range of practical workshops, technical sessions and panel discussions led by internationally-renowned experts. The 2016 Slips, Trips and Falls International Conference, held in conjunction with the Falls Technical Committee International Ergonomics Association, will share the latest research and ideas on developing solutions to reduce the incidence and impact of workplace accidents. Slips, trips and falls on the level, stair falls and falls from height will all be addressed and updated with the latest thinking. Highlights of the two-day conference will include addresses covering measurement principles and technology, human/behavioural factors, architectural design and footwear.
