NEW FOODHQ PARTNERSHIP TO UNLOCK R&D OPPORTUNITIES A new research and development collaboration between FoodHQ and multinational food, health and biological company Proliant is expected to kickstart the development of nearly $2 million in research proposals in the Manuwatu/Whanganui region. The new partnership will see a full-time Proliant employee working with more than 2200 scientists from nine internationally recognised research and innovation organisations with projects such as extracting and processing high-value biological by-products Proliant’s new production plant. Developed as part of Accelerate25 – the implementation programme of the Manawatu-Whanganui regional growth strategy – the partnership will enable FoodHQ to grow its international relationships company’s recent establishment of a New Zealand beach-head facility in Feilding, and expand connections with its parent company Lauridsen Group to unlock further opportunities.
