The AG600 measuring 37 metres with a wingspan of 38.8 metres, is capable of taking off and landing both on land and stretches of water that are more than 1,500 metres long, 200 metres wide and 2.5 metres deep. It has a maximum take-off weight of 53.5 tonnes, a top cruising speed of 500 km/h and a range of 4,500 km and can fly for 12 hours at a time, according to its builder, the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).
